Program & Curriculum:

Sandbox’s evolving curriculum is rooted in and inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework and the Reggio Emilia approach. When it comes to

materials, our program strives to use recycled, loose parts, natural, and authentic materials that foster an open-ended and hands-on approach

to learning.

Infants/Toddlers will be engaged in creative arts, early literacy, and sensory play. Music and movement will give them opportunity to learn

through songs, rhymes, and stories.

3 to 5 year old’s learn rapidly through creative arts, math activities, early literacy, science and discovery, music and movement, and sensory

play. Each activity is purposeful and well thought out and informed in part by the interests, strengths and needs of all children.
